U.S. Boats To Gaza Efforts During The Corona Virus Epidemic
As the world faces the Covid-19 epidemic our hearts go out to the people of Gaza where the virus has now appeared. Gaza is an even more dangerous place for the Corona virus outbreak with a health care system that is hampered by the illegal blockade, with a population forced to live in close quarters due to restricted movement and being denied their right to return home, and the water being unfit for consumption. In solidarity with the people of Gaza, we are organizing events:
- Wednesday April 29:
- Nonviolence International webinar on Gaza during Covid-19. Alex McDonald representing US Boat To Gaza starts at 25:47 of the webinar.
- Saturday March 28:
- See the film Gaza Fights For Freedom by Abby Martin. 1-4pm ET. The film will be followed by a discussion with Abby Martin and We Are Not Numbers. This event is organized by our coalition partner Canadian Boat To Gaza and other Canadian solidarity groups. Register here.

- Code Pink‘s Ariel Gold hosted a webinar about the Corona Virus in Gaza featuring two young men in Gaza from Pam Bailey’s Gaza writing collective, “We Are Not Numbers.” Col. Ann Wright spoke briefly about the Gaza Freedom Flotilla representing US Boats To Gaza.
